Our Club

Poole Bushido Ju-jitsu Club is based in Poole Dorset and have produced some of the best martial artist around.

As members of the United Nations of Jujitsu and BJJAGB (British Jujitsu Association of Great Britian) we are affiliated to an associations established since 1960.

BJJAGB are National Governing Body for Ju-Jitsu in Great Britain. This organisation is officially recognised by Sport England (part of the UK Sports Council) and by the International Ju-Jitsu Federation, the JJIF. and are also associated with the Central Council of Physical Recreation (CCPR) and with the National Coaching Foundation; Sports Coach UK.

The British Ju Jitsu Association GB National Governing Body has been providing instruction and Governance in the martial art of Ju-Jitsu in the United Kingdom for many years now.

At Poole Bushido Ju-jitsu, we have the United Nations 2008 Ju-jitsu Champion & British 2008 Ju-jitsu Champion plus other medal winners from many other competitions.

We have been established for more than 10 years and during that time we have earnt respect from many other martial art instructors and club across the UK, Europe and lands far across the globe.

At Poole Jujitsu we continue to teach traditional jujitsu based on an established syllabus being used by the majority of celebrated jujitsu clubs in the UK.

As a friendly and family focused club we encourage students of all ages to attend our club and encourage a disciplined but friendly and caring environment. This is to ensure that all students have access to well rounded teachings, whilst maintaining basic credendtials such as respect for others and the essential self respect.

We also encourage all of our members and students to travel with us to courses, competitions and events across the country. Every student attending these courses will learn new skills, meet new friends and become a member of a very big family where we all care about each other. These attitudes seem to be in decline sometimes in the wider world, so it is re-assuring to find old fashioned values being encouraged.
